hi everyone! i'm glad there's a phr forum now where writers and readers could interact. i used to write novels for phr but when i got employed by a big corporation, writing has to take the backseat. good to hear phr was not toppled by the so-called "bangketa books" that sell much,much cheaper pocketbooks but with much, much low quality as well. this is another reason why i stopped writing. i cannot stomach to see my works peddled like isda and gulay. Razz

i can see my contemporary writers are still around like martha, rose tan, amanda & camilla. nice to know they keep honing this craft.

i'm into entrepreneurship now and still learning the ropes of business but writing novels is one recreation i'd like to do when time is not a luxury. my last novel was in...ah yeah, 2000 pa. i'd rather withdraw my identity coz some of my co-authors & phr staff might still remember me, and camilla will make kulit again that i write. Wink

to phr readers, you're in the right track. writers here really do burn their brows and break their keyboard/typewriters just to come up with interesting stories that will take you to new heights. king

i started reading PB nung grade six ako...kaya lang patago [katulad nyo]
pagagalitan kasi kami ng mga ina namin...
naimpluwensyahan ako ng kaklase ko nun...
tapos natigil nung HS ako...
pero pagumuuwi ako sa prov namin
inaabuso ng tita ko yung hilig ko
then ngayon na lang ulit ako naadik.....

i started writing ng novel nung HS ako nakatapos ako ng isa
ngayong college laging putol dahil sa BF ko..at ngayon na lang ulit kasiw alang bf..hahaha

so yun na lang muna...time na ako..bye bye...

Hi guys! newbie here =) I'm hannah. 21 years of age and i'm from QC.

I started reading years ago. Pero nung una pinagbabawalan pa ako ni mama ngayon eto at may collection of books na ako dito sa bahay. yay.

i started writing novels around 4 years ago pero pahinto hinto ako. Yung mga natapos ko nang isulat na novels eh puro english. Now i'm thinking of trying to write a story in tagalog. try lang naman Wink

At hindi ako makapiwalang nagtatype me ngayon. lol!

Psychology graduate from La Salle at nawawala pa rin hanggang ngayon

Nagsimula me ma-addict sa PHR siguro mga 10 years ago na rin. First year high.
Devil's Kiss was the first pocketbook I'd read. Naalala ko hiniram ko pa sya from my Aunt. Then I started collecting PHR pocketbooks my self. (ng patago).
But so far nabigo, nalaman well at least ngayon nadidisplay ko na sya sa book shelves ko... Bwahaha!

Hindi ko rin alam kung baket hook na hook ako s mga storya ng PHR. Maybe because maganda yung mga variety of stories nila. Yung style and yung humor... Sa PHR lang talaga ako nasatisfied sa pagbabasa. And believe me or not sa sobrang inspiration nakuha ko sa kanila I tried it on real life situation.
Nakakatawa at nakakaiyak tuloy ang kinalabasan ng love life ko dahil don.

But thanks to PHR at least I experience the craziness of being in love...
