Sa Buhay Ni Ida

I'm gonna go out of my mind if I can't be with you again."

Lumaki sa probinsiya si Ida. Doon ay binuo niya ang mga batang pangarap para sa hacienda na kanyang kinagisnan. Ngunit ang lahat ng iyon ay hindi nabigyan-katuparan. Bihag pala siya ng kahapong hindi siya ang gumuhit.

Sa loob ng mahigit isang dekada, maraming hindi nabago sa kanyang buhay, gaano man kasidhi ang damdamin niyang higitan kung ano lamang ang inihain sa kanya ng tadhana.

Ang panahon ay tila inilipad lamang ng hangin. Ang mga tao sa kanyang paligid ay nagbago, may nawala, kakaunti ang nanatili.

Sa loob ng mahigit isang dekada, kabilang sa hindi nagbago ay ang pagmamahal niya kay Carlo, ang nobyo ng kanyang kapatid. Matagal itong nawala, ngunit palagi ring bumabalik. At sa huling pagbabalik nito ay nalaman niyang ikakasal na ito sa kanyang ate...

heavy drama ang isang to! with lots of sumptous filipino recipes on the side, maliban sa love, friends and family relationship issues.

di ba naging novels of the year din ito? im not sure kung nung 2004 or 2005.

2004 i think, e yung Pag-ibig ni Bruno & Samo sa Langit di ba 3 books ni ms. V nanalo nung 2005 ba yun? di ko na rin maalala year kasi para kasing kelan lang yun, bilis kasi ng panahon. Smile

Gusto ko yang sa Buhay ni Ida. nare-remind ako ng nung movie na like water for chocolate at yong kay claudine at aga dahil ang daming lutu-luto. Parang ang sarap ng haleya ni Ida.

adaptation sya ng Like water for chocolate.. pero nabasa namin 'to uso ang Jewel in the palace..(pero mas nauna etong book na 'to kesa sa Jewel.) para syang si Jangjung. Razz

hahaha, jang geum? puede na din,kaya lang di naman pure love story ang jewel,pero enjoy ding panoorin yun Smile

yup,maganda din yung novels ni ms. esquivel kung saan na inspire si ms. van na gawin tong ida, not so closely same plot pero maganda pa rin ang outcome kasi sinulat nya to in her own style. I love you

sa dami ng sinulat nya ito lang pina sign ko nung fans day kasi malapit to sa puso ko, it reminds me of esquivel's masterpiece, na isa rin sa all time fave ko. Very Happy

at isa pa, hindi nag atubili na i- share ni ms,. van yung masasarap na recipe ng lola nya through this novel, kaya parang na engganyo tuloy akong magluto, hahaha Laughing

yung copy ko nito may sign din ni Ms. Vanessa pero unfortunately, pinahiram ko sa cousin ko at nawala nya.

kaya nung nakakita ako sa NBS binili ko na mahirap na magsisi sa bandang huli pagnaubos na.

Sana may ilabas ulit si Ms. Van na ganito kakapal this year.
